Unkown

Liam Neeson and January Jones star in this action thriller about a Scientist, whose identity is stolen after he gets into an accident in Russia. Sounds pretty standard, but Unknown isn't typical, there is a huge twist in this movie, which I won't even bother to divulge (see it for yourselves. Neeson was great, but I can't help but feel a sense of deja-vu with this movie, his roles and accents are always the same. I don't know how I feel about Jones's performance can't decide if she was good or just okay. Started off a little slowly but the movie definitely picks up in the end. I give it 3 JUICY MANGOES.

Just Go With It

I was pleasantly surprised with this one, since I tend to dislike Adam Sandler movies. Especially coming off of Grown Ups which was so corny, I had low expectations. Just Go With It, however was really funny, predictable but still funny. I laughed from beginning to end. Jenifer Aniston was also great in this movie ( I usually hate all her movies The Bounty Hunter and The Breakup were both horrible). Sandler's character stars as a sleaze ball plastic surgeon that uses the wedding ring and his so called horrible marriage as bait for young women. However this comes back to haunt him when he finds a girl he really likes, so he invents a family. Using his loyal assistant(Aniston) and her children as his props, and the rest you can pretty much guess. A couple guest appearances were made so look out for those, very enjoyable. I give it 3.5 JUICY MANGOES.

The Fighter

This one was a pleasant surprise, I hate boxing, I think its a gruesome sport. I don't watch it on tv, and I don't usually like movies about it, didn't like Ali, or any of the Rocky movies (YES I SAID IT I DON'T LIKE ROCKY) However The Fighter was thrilling from start to finish. It was more about Mickey Ward's struggle and triumphant journey toward becoming the WBU Intercontinental Light Welterweight Champion and less about the fighting. He overcame many obstacles growing up in the slums of Boston, and being pulled down by the weight of his destructive and calamitous family. More notably his crack head brother(Bale) who was more preoccupied with getting high than training him and his overbearing mother (Leo)who favored Dicky more and didn't have his best interest at heart. A wonderful cast, great acting by everyone, there was no weak link in this movie. I give it 4 JUICY MANGOES

The Tourist

Angelina can do no wrong in my eyes, but this movie was another disappointment. It wasn't the blockbuster hit it was supposed to be and the critics panned it, but "The Tourist" really wasn't that bad. Angelina plays a lonely woman patiently awaiting the return of her burglar beau, but there are numerous obstacles in their way. He's wanted by the British secret service and the Russian gangster he stole from. Also she falls for an innocent bystander (Depp) and is forced to question whether she can put her life on hold for him. The storyline and plot were great, acting was also good, but this movie fails in its element of surprise. This is where it gets stupid, the ending was ridiculous and very impossible. I give it 3 JUICY MANGOES

Little Fockers

I was looking forward to this one but it was very disappointing, especially since Meet the Fockers was such a hit. The story, was a little dull and most of the jokes fell flat. Deniro and Stiller's characters remained the same, they didn't evolve their petty fighting became boring and embarrassing to watch. There were too many unnecessary, characters in the film Wilson & Alba for example, both their performances were weak and clichéd. Streisand and Hoffman weren't used enough, their antics brought some much needed comedic relief. Needless to say I was not impressed, I give it TWO JUICY MANGOES. Wait for it to come out on HBO.

Yogi Bear

One word - TRASH, no mangoes, plot not even worth going over.

Tron

Visually this movie was stunning, those into graphics and special effects will love it. The story line wasn't bad too. Flynn (Bridges) the video game genius suddenly disappears , leaving the technology world in uproar and his son in crises. Many years later he turns up, seems he was trapped in his own video game creation all this time. Here starts the movie, and a little of the ridiculousness, which I won't delve into since that would be giving away too much. Was not impressed with the acting, Munn's character was especially weak,Hedlund was ok. However those who followed this series may still enjoy it. I give it 3 JUICY MANGOES
